Andrew describes his foundation degree as "A big step forward professionally" and had no second thoughts about enrolling after taking his BTEC National Diploma with us while working full-time for BG Pavers."

His first learning experience with Accrington & Rossendale College left such a good impression, that he was happy to return, saying, "I knew a lot of the tutors and they'd always treated me like an adult and given
me help when I needed it."
 
Andrew knows the importance employers place on the right qualifications.
"Whenever I looked at jobs in the paper, they generally wanted a HNC or a Degree, so the right qualification definitely counts, especially when it comes to things such as Internal Promotions."
