Arvin Meritor is based in Warton, Preston, and has been associated with Blackpool and The Fylde College for six years, by supplying learning resources, work placements and technical development information.

Some employees are taking the Foundation Degree in Autosport at the College, and the company supports them by allowing time off for study, as well as enabling them to use the facility for research.
