Degree: Communication at Work

Kellie studied for her Foundation Degree on a full-time basis, while working as a Student Grants Assessment Officer for the Civil Service in Fleetwood. She was not given time of work for her studies, so had to build up flexi-time in order to attend her classes. 

Kellie has only recently started working for her employer. Her course gave her confidence at her job interview, and she has used many of the skills which she has learned at college (such as letter writing and advertising) for her work. Kellie has succeeded in organising and focusing on her studies, despite experiencing unpredictable disruptions to her work due to personal problems.
